Bukayo Saka has agreed a new five-year contract with Arsenal that will make him one of the club’s highest-paid players. The deal, expected to be confirmed soon, will run until 2031 and is understood to be worth more than £15m a year, reflecting Saka’s importance to the team. Arsenal’s sporting director Andrea Berta prioritised securing the future of the Hale End graduate, following new long-term deals for Gabriel Magalhães, William Saliba, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly. Saka, who joined the club aged seven, has been in strong form as Arsenal built a six-point lead at the top of the Premier League. Manager Mikel Arteta has previously said the winger is happy and proud to represent the club. Arsenal are also considering improved terms for Declan Rice, while any move for Marc Guéhi is more likely in the summer.
